I am excited to announce that Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health has welcomed "Let's Talk" to the agency as one of their several community health programs. This will allow us to not only continue offering the inclusive, comprehensive sexuality education you trust, but will also create opportunities to increase our impact.
The structure and nature of the class offerings has not changed. We continue to strive to help people contemplate their personal values and think critically about their decisions regarding critical aspects of sexuality. However, exciting progress will happen behind the scenes including adding additional staff and volunteers, building new community partnerships, and evaluating our material regularly to keep the curriculum current with the latest evidence-based tools. Please watch for announcements on website and social media platforms.
Our comprehensive sexuality education continues to be delivered in person or via Zoom for elementary, middle school, and high school students.
I am very passionate about the "Let's Talk" program and I have dedicated myself to building it with your support and participation. I am thrilled that Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health shares this commitment and I look forward to their continued service to you and our community.
